Corrections

If you believe a tax figure is wrong, please tell us, and if you can, include a link to the statute or your state revenue department's published rate. State rates change every legislative session and corrections are the most useful mail we get.

What we cannot help with

• Individual tax advice. We are not accountants and cannot advise on your situation. A CPA licensed in your state can.
• Claiming a prize. Contact your state lottery directly. We have no connection to any lottery operator.
• Anything claiming you have won a prize you did not enter. That is a scam, and no legitimate lottery asks for a payment to release winnings.
